The Mochlos Foundation
The Mochlos Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) that supports the work of the excavation, including the study and publication of finds as well as the preservation of the site. It also supports a Post-Doctoral Fellowship that is open to scholars working on material from the excavation or related to findings from the excavation. Grants are awarded for 6 or 12 months in the amount of $6000 or $12000 and may be renewed for a second year. The deadline for application is October 1st and the award is made November 1st. Applicants should apply to the Director of the excavation with a vita, a summary of the work the applicant wishes to undertake, and a deadline when the final version of the project is ready to be submitted for publication. Donations to the Foundation may be made by personal check in dollars or euros, written to “Mochlos Foundation” and mailed to:

As a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation the foundation is exempt from federal income tax, and all donations are tax-deductible in the USA.
